The Political Identity of the Green Movement in Germany: Social-Philosophical Reflections.

Axel Honneth

This paper attempts to articulate the common ground that could unite the different normative intuitions operative in the Green movement in Germany. The paper argues that only an extended conception of justice, one that would encompass references to nature, culture and the future, will be able to build a bridge between these different intuitions. However, caution must be exercised in the application of this extended conception of justice so that the worst-off are in each case the first targeted by it.

Ha mort Ludwig von Friedeburg

L'Institut d'Investigació Social de la Universitat de Frankfurt ha comunicat la mort del professor Ludwig von Friedeburg (21 de maig de 1924 - 17 de maig de 2010).
El professor Ludwig von Friedeburg va pertànyer des del 1954 fins a la seua mort a l'Institut d'Investigació Social. S'hi va incorporar com a jove científic social, tot desenvolupant acurants estudis empirics. El 1966 fou nomenat tercer director, al costat de Max Horkheimer i Theodor W. Adorno. El 2001 va prendre la responsabilitat de dirigir la institució. Fou un assessor insustituïble i, gràcies al seus incansables esforços, s'assolí mantenir la continuïtat entre les generacions velles i les joves de l'Institut.

Aniversari de Marx

El 5 de maig de 2010 s'acompliren 192 anys del naixement de Karl Marx. També: 10.018 setmanes i un dia o 70.127 dies. Ho celebre amb aquestes fotos de la tomba de Marx a Londres, fetes per Patricia Pérez (papemo@alumni.uv.es).
